Dr. Josh will take x-rays of your mouth to see deep inside your tooth to find the source of the problem. He will then explain your options and help you understand the procedure, cost, and recovery time. If you are comfortable moving forward, we can make an appointment for the treatment.

Root canal treatment is usually pretty straightforward. And typically painless, although you will likely feel pressure during the procedure.

  • Numb the area

  • Make a small hole in the top of the tooth

  • Remove damaged tooth pulp

  • Kill harmful bacteria by filling the space inside your tooth with medication

  • Cover the hole inside your tooth with a filling to prevent infection
